Nourish Reviews

I give Nourish four stars because I'm over the moon thrilled that there is a place for me to eat when I visit my family that doesn't have an onion blossom on the menu. w00t!!!! And, I love that it partners with local area farms (where I picked flowers and berries g'damn it when I was a teenager) and is mindful about packaging, etc. I'll be back.

I've eaten at Nourish four times already and I've completely enjoyed everything I've had there (and I'm a foodie with fairly high standards).

I've had their quesadilla appetizer(I had cheese and roasted veg, but other options are available) twice with a side salad.  The quesadilla, served with sour cream and a good salsa, was ample and delicious. The side salad was bigger than expected, and had a really good house dressing, tangy, flavorful, and very complimentary to the nice mixed greens. All together, the quesadilla with side salad was a dinner-size amount of food.

I found the hamburger to be flavorful and cooked just fine. It comes on a very nice bakery roll.  The cole slaw, which the Globe described unflatteringly, received high praise from my dinner companions on all four occasions that I ate there.  It is made with a mustard vinaigrette style dressing rather than the usual white dressing.  On the menu, the hamburger is offered with barbecue sauce and cheese.  I requested it with sliced tomatoes and grilled onions instead, which they accommodated cheerfully.

Here's something I like about the place:  They don't put bread on the table with a dish of oil and they don't tempt you with French fries with the hamburger.  This way, you can eat there without overdoing the empty calories, but still have a delicious and satisfying meal.

We were walking around Lexington Center and were planning to go to one of our "regular" restaurants but when walking past this one I decided it looked interesting enough to try. I'm so glad we did!

The service was fantastic. Our server was very friendly, very fast, and always kept our water glasses full. The atmosphere was also very nice; the booth we sat at was complete with cushy pillows.

All in all, a very good experience. I'll definitely go again and try some other things on the menu.

I am big fan of their place in Framingham [Big Fresh] and never missed to go there when we were in the area. We live in Waltham and Nourish is honestly, a DREAM COME TRUE for us. We were there on 1st night !! Food is delicious, waiters happy, pricing is good.

AND, to top it all it is HEALTHY, ORGANIC, LOCAL. Love it ! hats off the the owners. You guys are great and you pure heart come across !

A white bread and unhealthy free butter is better not served !

Carrot cake was yummy, so was the Garlic lentil and Falafal plate.

As one who is in a "mixed marriage" (vegetarian and omnivore), it's a treat to find a new place with a menu that has lots of choices for everyone. Our group of four found everything very tasty, and the service was quick and professional.

I visited Nourish with five other people, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their dinner, from chicken teriyaki stir-fry (mine) to baby back ribs to falafel. The food did take a while to come out (hopefully this issue can be resolved) and our server was overbearing (if friendly), but the positive far outweighed the negatives. I like the "healthy but not too healthy" attitude of the place, too. Lexington needs more good restaurants like this one.

Awesome!! Try spicy carot dip, beet salad, curry, or pizza. I had them all and wow!!!

Went back to Nourish for lunch today and had a very nice experience. It was late (around 2) but the patio was full and there were several tables occupied inside. I asked to sit near a window so scored a booth (alone) in the front window. I had the falafel salad plate. It was excellent. The portion was a good size - 6 falafel on top of hummus, with a small salad of lettuce, tomato and cucumber with a drizzle of tahini dressing. Served with fresh pita. The falafel were crispy on the outside and tender and delicous inside. Not heavy at all. The hummus wasn't nearly as thick as last time and had some very nice flavor. It was served with a small bit of very hot pepper spread - delicous. Excellent lunch - really exactly what I would hope for in Lexington center. I hope this means that they're starting to hit their stride - 2 weeks open today.

We ate at Nourish Lexington on Saturday Aug. 14th for lunch. After a week in the Boston area (during Restaurant Week), we both thought that our lunch at Nourish was the best food we ate all week. I had the Black Bean Burger, and although it fell apart, the flavor was wonderful. Our other order was Moroccan Tagine, which is very similar to the kind of food we try to prepare at home. The marinara hit the palate as something sweet, turned savory and within seconds became spicy. It was an adventure with every bite. The iced tea was nicely minty. The carrot cake was a hit and the vegan chocolate cake, while I'd describe it as "okay," (and too big) had a to-die-for chocolate sauce drizzled over it. We loved the simple and bright decor. Nourish was a great send-off from the Boston area as we returned home to DC that afternoon.

I have spent a lot of time in Lexington lately for work and I am SO thankful for Nourish.  I have eaten lunch there twice this week.  The food is fresh, healthy, and so affordable.  I had a wrap with fresh salmon and rice for less than $10.  Today, I tried the Falafel - amazing, but watch out for a little post-lunch garlic breath. The staff was incredibly informative, nice, and helpful.  I love that they source everything they can from local farms without charging ridiculous prices.

This came in over our e-mail a few days ago.  We very much appreciate this!

Just a short note to say that Nourish is an amazing dining experience.  The freshest food. A award winning menu. Service that can't be beat. To have the owner greeting and sharing her passion for the environment, food, art and music! All I can say is well done! Thank you!
